Halifax Recieve £1750 Grant Award from West Yorkshire Police
Mick Rowe & Phil Murgatroyd from halifax police boxing have recieved £1750 from the West Yorkshire Police Grant Awards 2011, the club intend too replace equipment damaged due to flooding and burglary, and will attract more young people and help develop their skills and encourage them to become coach’s and hopefully move onto teaching themselves.

Congratulations to Dale “Bomber” Booth who won again with another first round stoppage over Simon Bagshaw from Aylcliff ABC in Darlington, thats 4 wins in 4 weeks 3 by way of stoppage.
Another great win for Kyle Scully

Halifax Police Boxing Club have been actively working with schools in Calderdale for the past 2 years, with successful programmes in schools including Halifax Grammar, Halifax High and Qeensbury, where the children and schools are benefitting greatly from the courses provided. The club is currently working towards achieving the prestigious ABA Clubmark Scheme.
