The Halifax Boxing Club Christmas Raffle has been made and the winner is raffle ticket number 2501: Danny Foulds, Halifax Building Society, who has won £500 Pounds for Christmas. James First at the Yorkshire ABA finals
After winning his first fight in the Yorkshire ABA finals last Saturday Jimmy won again on Sunday to reach the final this Thursday at Parsons Cross, Sheffield. It was a Great fight with Jimmy nearly stopping his opponent and storming into the final. Good luck Jimmy from all at the club!!!!!

Location

The Halifax ABC club is located in the impressive historic Ladyship Mills building on Old Lane Ovenden Halifax HX3 5QN next to Ladyship Mills Carpets (Multirug). Follow the yellow signposts for Multirug and then the black and white ones for the club. There is ample tarmac off road parking to the side and rear.

Bus Routes

For most people travelling by bus the most convenient route would be to use the Halifax, Illingworth bus 521 (Sky Blue Line) getting off near the bottom of Ovenden Way. From there follow the yellow Multirug sign down the cobbled Bird Tree Lane and then turn left onto Old Lane. The club is located 100 yards along on the left.
